My view
Well his design is acceptable..same old cocky attitude, wearing scarf,different shoes (I like old one better),
mouth at centre (Sonic adventure DX?)
overuse of bandage(seriously even knuckles,tails, amy is wrap with bandage) but I guess because The setting is at desert? :dunno: 
however, WHY SONIC HAS A BLUE ARM?!

Conclusion (Oh wow.. essay)
The trailer has good animation, a little awkward running animation, Seem like an enjoyable TV series
It a good design but I hope they change back sonic arm color.
